From the Skagit Valley of the northwest of the US comes Kyle FM. After studying music in college, he decided to depart as a traveller for some years, writing his peaceful songs of introspection. The experiences he had abroad were abnormal and life-changing, and he returned home to the US to make a go at the music industry to share the stories he gathered.

 

FM's achievements in the music industry in the US were primarily as singer/songwriter in the dream folk group, The Sky Colony. In their time active between 2012-2020, they had more than 400 performances, playing often alongside greats in the west coast folk/americana scene. After making bountiful connections, he joined the GRAMMY Recording Academy, and is now acting as a voting member and artist mentor.

Beyond the stage, he fosters connections within men's groups, creating spaces for camaraderie and growth, and bravely experiences the world with his magnificent wife. FM now resides in Portugal and looks to expand his musical stories of home to the country and the greater continent of Europe.
